A TEENAGE music starlet from Wollaston saw her dreams come true when she got to play with one of her heroes in her own back garden.
Danni Griffiths, aged 17, won a competition which brought Fun Lovin' Criminals' drummer Frank Benbini, known as Uncle Frank, to her home in Gerald Road on Friday (May 2).
The competition, called 'Step Into My Room', saw Uncle Frank perform at 14 houses around the country.
Now recording as a solo artist - the star brought a guitarist and two dancers and performed a full set to a crowd of 60 onlookers in a specially-erected marquee in Danni's back garden.
The Halesowen College student is a massive fan of the Fun Lovin' Criminals and afterwards got to jam with her hero and perform one of her own songs with him.
She said: "It was wonderful to have Uncle Frank and his band come and play here, he has always been one of my musical heroes and to see him here and get to play with him afterwards was just like a dream come true.
"Everybody seemed to really enjoy the gig and it was nice of the band to hang around and spend so much time chatting to the fans and I certainly hope to play live with Uncle Frank again in the future."
A regular performer at Stourbridge venues Katie Fitzgerald's and Moochers, singer and guitarist Danni has recently released her new single Dreamers Dream and an album release is planned later this year.
