A SPIRITED 70-year-old from Kingswinford recently achieved a lifelong ambition when she jumped out of a plane.
Sandra Woodall, took the plunge after being challenged by her husband, who booked the parachute jump as a birthday present.
The kind-hearted post officer worker decided to use the exhilarating experience to try and raise £1,000 for charity.
Mrs Woodall, chose to support her employer, the Midcounties Co-operative's charity partner, the Teenage Cancer Trust.
To date, she has received more than £200 in sponsorship from friends and family, which will help the charity improve the quality of life and chances of survival of young people aged 13 to 24.
She said: “It’s been a long-held ambition of mine to jump out of an aeroplane, and soon as I was given the opportunity, I was proud to use my experience as a way to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
“The jump was an incredible adrenaline rush, but there would be no greater thrill than reaching my goal of £1,000 for this fantastic charity."
