Stourbridge News: The Fizzogs The Fizzogs

COMEDY act Fizzog Productions are set to kick off the Black Country Day celebrations two days early when the group appears at Brierley Hill Civic Hall on Saturday July 12.

The group has promised to introduce new material alongside some old favourite sketches.

Co-founder Jacky Fellows said: "All our material and inspiration stems from the Black Country area and its unique characters. We want to highlight the sense of fun and entertainment which is such a feature of the region."

The one-night show will be compered by Barbara Nice - aka former Coronation Street actress Janice Connolly - and it will be a prelude to a new extended Fizzogs tour which will take place later in the year.

Tickets for the Brierley Hill show are available online from www.fizzogproductions.ticketsource.co.uk
