GOOD causes stand to benefit thanks to the resounding success of this year's Kinver Country Fayre.
Event organisers are inviting applications from local clubs, groups and organisations as they look to despatch profits from the event.
Steering committee spokesman Charlie Sadler said: "It was the most successful Kinfayre ever. We must have had over 12,000 people at the event - which was a massive amount for a one day event.
"Last year, we raised a shade over £10,000 and we're possibly well on target to beat that total this time. Now we're looking to hear from any deserving causes within Kinver Parish."
However, Mr Sadler warned the future of Kinfayre could be in jeopardy unless more help can be found.
He explained: "We're in desperate need of some new blood. The current steering committee are getting old, in fact there's no-one on it under 60-years-old and it's got to the point where we need some help.
"We've already started work on next year's Kinfayre which takes place on June 21, but it's getting increasingly harder for us.
"We also organise the Christmas lights, which last year attracted 3,500 people into the village. This year it takes place on the last Friday, November 28."
Applications forms for groups wishing to apply for funds are available from Kinver Parish Council office, the library and the Compton Hospice charity shop.
Alternatively, organisations can apply online at kinvercountryfayre.com by September 30.
