DUDLEY’S over 50s can take advantage of free dance class, test their table tennis skills and embrace their creative side at an event organised by Age UK.

The charity offers a variety of activities, courses, classes, trips and events for those wishing to learn a new skill or make new friends and have fun with like-minded people.

Weekly activities include seated and standing exercise classes, drama workshops and zumba.

A free taster session will take place on Wednesday September 3 at the charity’s Springboard Activity Centre, Level Street, Brierley Hill.

In addition to finding out more about activities available, visitors will be also able to browse stands, watch food demonstrations and receive free health checks and beauty treatments from 10.30am to 2pm.

Strictly Come Dancing fans can practice some moves with a beginner’s ballroom and Latin dance class from 11am to 12 noon before trying their hand at table tennis from 12 noon to 1pm.

Exercise classes will run from 1pm to 1.30pm and 1.35pm to 2pm and those with a creative flair can take part in an art class from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
