WILL Aid has proved so popular with a firm of Stourbridge solicitors that it has now become a victim of its own success.

The scheme which sees solicitors offer to help people write their will for free is supposed to run throughout November.

But Stourbridge solicitors Talbots have already found themselves fully booked up with Will Aid applications for the entire period.

Talbots representative Sharon Oakley said: "We were starting to get bookings for Will Aid back in April. It's got to the point where we are now running another promotion of our own to go alongside Will Aid, simply because it has proved so popular. Not only are we fully booked up in Stourbridge, but also at our other branch offices in Wolverhampton, Coseley, Stourport, Halesowen, Dudley and Kidderminster."

Will Aid provides people with the chance to draw up a will without the solicitor charging their normal fee.

Instead customers are asked to make a donation to some of Will Aid's chosen charities.

Talbots alternative scheme will now see money donated to Acorns Children's Hospice.

Waldrons are also taking part in Will Aid through their Brierley Hill and Kingswinford offices.
