Pauline sadly announced that Margaret Pearson had passed away on January 31 at Mary Steven's Hospice. She had been a guild member for six years, and a committee member for four years. Her funeral had been attended by the committee and other members, and donations from the guild would be forwarded in Margaret's memory to the Hospice.

Megan Hingley was thanked for the flowers, which were given as an extra raffle prize, and Pauline asked for volunteers to provide flowers for future meetings. In response to the request for a Guild "sick visitor", Eileen Manning and May Sheeran agreed to share the job.

Dorothy Edwards notified us of a proposed visit to a cottage garden at Little Larford, near Stourport, on Tuesday, April 24. This will include a garden tour, a woodland walk, and followed by afternoon tea, at a cost of £4. Lifts could be arranged.

Elaine Pickersgill proposed a day out on September 5, comprising a guided coach tour of black and white villages in Herefordshire, at a cost of £15.

Dorothy Edwards gave a report on the Federation meeting on January 17, detailing various forthcoming events: Annual lunch in July at The Mill, with Ann Widdecombe as guest speaker; Tea and tales at Wollaston Church Hall on April 18, cost £5; The play "Hay fever" at Malvern Theatre on May 30; The autumn fayre is still undecided as there have been only six applications to date.

She then introduced out speaker Dr. Paul Collins, who gave a talk on the history of trams in Stourbridge.

Dorothy Gibson gave the vote of thanks.

Pamela Green won the competition.
