A DUDLEY man has been remanded in custody, accused of committing a series of burglaries at homes across the borough.
Scott Pooler was arrested on Monday afternoon (March 30), outside the Cousins store in Dudley town centre, after the furniture shop reported the theft of a lamp.
Officers stopped the 39-year-old and took him to a local police station for questioning, where he was then spoken to about seven burglary offences, which were reported across Dudley, Gornal and Brierley Hill between March 25 and 30.
Pooler, of no fixed address, was yesterday (Tuesday) charged with seven counts of burglary and one theft from a shop and appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court, where he was remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Wolverhampton Crown Court, at a date yet to be fixed.
