A HORSE rider was injured when she fell from her horse near Kinver today (Monday May 25).
A woman in her 40s was hurt following the incident which took place near Sugarloaf Lane in Iverley just before 11.30am.
An ambulance and paramedic were called to the scene and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "Crews responded to a rider who had fallen from her horse this morning.
"The patient, believed to be in her 40s, was treated for a leg injury and lower back pain.
"She was immobilised with the use of a neck collar and placed on a spinal board as a precaution.
"The patient was also given pain relief before being taken by ambulance to Russells Hall Hospital for further treatment and treatment."
