Harriers' wait for a win goes on after a late goal saw them held to a 1-1 draw at Gateshead's International Stadium.

Gary Whild made three changes to the side that fell to defeat against Wrexham in the previous outing - perhaps the most telling being in goal, where West Bromwich Albion youngster Alex Palmer was preferred to Dean Snedker.

There were two further changes up top; Andre Wright restored to the line-up in favour of Tahvon Campbell and Gurjit Singh drafted in to replace the suspended Reece Styche.

Stourbridge and Tividale could go head-to-head in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Glassboys have been drawn away against the winners of this Saturday's preliminary round clash at The Beeches between neighbours Tivi and Hanley Town.

The first qualifying round tie is scheduled to be played on Saturday, September 12 at 3pm, subject to final confirmation.

Isobel Griffiths from Alcester will chase high profile success at the upcoming Sainsbury’s 2015 School Games in Manchester, when she competes in this prestigious multi-sport event for school-age athletes.

One of the 1,600 athletes taking part in this year’s Games, Griffiths, 15, from Tudor Grange Academy will represent England Central in the swimming competition.

In total, 12 sports, seven of which include disability disciplines, will be contested at the four-day spectacular between September 3 and 6, which is supported by National Lottery funding from Sport England and delivered by the Youth Sport Trust.

Dudley boxer Ryan Aston is set to return to the ring to take on Nathan Graham in Wolverhampton on October 3.

The Priory Park pugilist will meet the former Southern Area champion in an eliminator contest for the English light-middleweight championship.

'Tank' Aston (15-2-2), considered unlucky in some quarters not to get the decision over Jason Welborn in a Midlands-title challenge in June, will look to further banish that defeat with success over Graham (17-6-1) in front of Box Nation cameras at Wolverhampton Civic Hall.
