GOOD morning. We are here to provide any information on incidents that might crop up throughout the rush hour period this morning on our Black Country and North Worcestershire roads.

So far the roads across the area are pretty quiet but Alcester Road in Studley has been closed both ways due to roadworks between Toms Town Lane and High Street. Diversion is in place via Bromsgrove Road and Station Road.

The A422 in Cookhill is also closed because of roadworks between A441 Evesham Road and A435. The diversion is via Evesham Road and B4088 south to Dunnington, then north past Ragley Hall to re-join the A422 at Arrow.

There are other areas of planned roadworks which are causing delays, these include: Temporary traffic lights in Kidderminster on A451 Stourbridge Road at Chester Road North / Broadwaters Drive (Rose Theatre mini roundabout), where delays should be expected until March 8, while traffic is also expected in Dudley on Dixon's Green Road at Oakham Road due to temporary traffic lights.

Delays are also being caused in Quarry Bank due to roadworks on A4100 High Street between Victoria Road and Merry Hill. The work is taking place there to improve traffic lights and bus shelters in a bid to ease congestion around the Merry Hill shopping centre until June 30.

Temporary traffic lights on Studley Road in Redditch at Arthur Street / Holloway Lane until April 11 are causing jams, while in Cradley Heath there are temporary lights on Barrs Road at Valley Road until March 25.
