SIX Black Country men are due to appear in court today (Monday, May 15) in connection with a spate of robberies in Dudley and Sandwell.
Four men were arrested by armed police in Dudley on Friday, May 12 while a further two were also caught as a result of another investigation.
James Taplin, aged 30, of Hawthorn Road, Tipton, has been charged with seven robbery offences at One Stop shops in Dudley and Sandwell, seven counts of possessing an offensive weapon and one charge of cultivating cannabis.
Martin Rollason, 30, of Albionfield Drive, West Bromwich, is charged with six robbery offences and six counts of possessing an offensive weapon.
Kyle Dingley, 18, of Victoria Road, Cradley Heath, Lee Pritchard, 23,of Gloucester Road, Netherton and Aiden Jenkins,19, of Field Road, Dudley, are all charged with one count of robbery, while Brad Arnold, 20, of Beechwood Road, Dudley, is charged with two robberies.
All have been remanded in custody to appear before Dudley Magistrates Court.
