A WOMAN’s body has been recovered from a canal in Kingswinford by police this morning (August 15).
Police were called to the canal near the Navigation Inn on Greensforge Lane, Swindon earlier today.
Officers are in the area, but the death is not believed to be suspicious.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: “Sadly, a woman’s body was recovered from the canal in Kingswinford earlier this morning (15 August).
“This happened near the Navigation pub.
“Uniformed officers are in the area and we are investigating the circumstances around her death, however at this time it is not believed to be suspicious.”
