OUR May meeting followed on from the very hectic but successful day we had at Kinver country fayre.

Our Stall sold cakes, Jam and Jewellery, all donated by our members. Gift bags and two games for people to have a go at, not forgetting the Raffle and a beautiful quilt made by the craft ladies. The winning ticket was yellow 386, purchased by J.Cooksey.

We had a lovely time at a coffee morning given by our president, but i'm afraid the same can not be said about our last skittles match, But we have definitely improved on last year.

Some of our members will be visiting a Hindu Temple in Tividale and then going on to Oak House at West Bromwich which is a Tudor House and museum. The walking group hope to have a River Side walk at Arley this month and the craft group will be meeting as usual.

The W.1 resolutions were presented by Maureen Kirby and Edna Simmonds. Discussed and votes on by the members, The Outcome will be passed to our Delegate who will vote on our behalf at the A.G.M in June at Liverpool.

We were then introduced to Mrs Patricia Wakeglam who practices complimentary therapy. This can be in the form of Hypnotherapy, Massage and acupressure. The Main aim is to induce relaxation, This can help to relieve stress and pain management and hep in ones own self belief.

For our Meeting on Monday June 9, we shall meet at Westacres' The garden of Mrs Joyce Williams. She opens her garden as part of the National garden scheme and its well worth seeing.
