TWENTY-SEVEN members and two visitors were welcomed to the May meeting of Quarry Bank TG, by chairman Mrs V Wright.
Minutes of the April meeting were read and the treasurers report given, correspondence dealt with and discussed.
Social secretary Mrs M Writtle gave final arrangements regarding the visit to the Botanical Gardens, Edgbaston and a list was sent round to ascertain the number of members interested in the visit to Coughton Court.
Final number were received of members wishing to be included in the Federation Dinner at the Mill Hotel and also of those wishing to be included in the Harvest Supper.
TG diaries will again be available and should be ordered as soon as possible.
There was no speaker this evening, instead a social evening' was enjoyed by all. Mrs Wright entertained us with an amusing quiz and the sales table proved a success.
The evening concluded with tea and cakes.
The raffle was won by Mrs Joan Hughes.
