A TWO car smash in Stourton left the engine of one of the cars in a field next to the road.
The crash happened at about 9.45pm last night (Thursday June 19) on Bridgnorth Road near the Fox Public House.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said the cars collided on a bend, and the first suffered massive damage that left the engine in a nearby field.
He said: "The the first car had two men in it, the second had two women and a man in it."
The men, believed to be in their 20s, were both complaining of back, chest and abdominal injuries - and were taken to Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley.
A 19-year-old woman in the second car had similar injuries and was taken to the same hospital.
The other woman and man in the second car, both thought to be in their 30s, were treated for minor injuries - and were taken to Russells Hall as a precaution.
The spokesman added: "The second car had also suffered significant damage to the front and driver's side."
