B&M Retail Limited has submitted an application for the sale of alcohol at its forthcoming new store in Stourbridge.
Bosses at the value retailer B&M plan to open a new store in the High Street building left vacant following the closure of Wilko and it’s set to open its doors to customers on January 25, 2024.
Meanwhile, an application for a premises licence for the building (64-67 High Street) has been submitted to Dudley Council’s licensing department - seeking permission to allow off sales of alcohol and opening hours from 7am to 11pm, seven days a week.
The full application, published on the Public Notice Portal, can be inspected by contacting the council’s licensing department, between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday, or an online summary can be viewed on the council’s website.
Any representations must be made in writing by Thursday December 14 to the interim service director of environment directorate, Licensing Services, Unit 1 Hurst Business Park, Narrowboat Way, Brierley Hill, DY5 1UF.
