THE latest parcel of green belt land in the Pedmore area to go to auction sold for £109,000.
A freehold plot, off Pedmore Lane, extending to approximately 17.6 acres, went under the hammer at Bond Wolfe Auction’s auction on December 14.
It had a guide price of £99,000+ with sales particulars stating it “may be suitable for a variety of uses, subject to obtaining the necessary planning consents”.
The sale followed two earlier auctions, in the autumn, where other plots in the same vicinity were sold.
On October 26, a 9.9-acre parcel of land off Pedmore Lane sold for £174,000, and a one-acre plot, off Pedmore Hall Lane, sold for £154,000.
On September 14, a 7.4-acre parcel of land on the corner Pedmore Hall Lane and Hagley Road sold for £242,000.
The land does not appear to have been listed as suitable for future development in the draft Dudley Local Plan, which was recently consulted on.
