A STOURBRIDGE gift shop that specialises in ethically sourced items is celebrating 10 years in business.
Faye Thatcher, of Fair & Square, is set to mark a decade of trading on March 1 – having made it through the Covid pandemic and cost of living crisis.
The shop, located in The Ryemarket, stocks unusual and alternative/Fairtrade/ethically sourced products such as wind chimes, home fragrance, wall hangings, cards, crystals, bags and jewellery.
Faye, who launched the business after being made redundant, said: “I have seen the town change a lot over the space of 10 years, and as a small business, have faced a lot of challenges along the way.”
She said it has been pleasing to hear about planned improvements for the town centre and that Stourbridge has welcomed a number of new independent businesses and she added: “We have lots planned for the March 1 official '10th birthday' including goodie bag giveaways and special offers and promotions.”
