A STOLEN motorbike which has been involved in a series of anti-social incidents has been seized by Lye police.

Officers caught up with the youth riding The Yamaha and it was seized.

A spokesman for Dudley police said: "The bike has been involved in a number of reported ASB incidents over the past few weeks, so the Lye Neighbourhood Police Team were happy to catch up with young man riding it.

"Enquiries revealed the bike was stolen, so it was promptly recovered.

"Tackling vehicle crime and ASB are local priorities here in Dudley and the recovery of this bike is part of our ongoing commitment to reducing incidents throughout the local area."

The spokesperson said officers are regularly carrying out patrols and searches around the local area in response to issues raised by residents.

The Brierley Hill team conducted a weapons sweep around Wall Heath Community Centre and the Dell Stadium, yesterday (Monday April 15) following concerns raised by local residents.
