DUDLEY Kingswinford’s joint head coach Jon Higgins admitted to a bit of frustration with the cold weather at the weekend which put paid to their home game with Old Northamptonians.
The fixture, had it gone ahead, was their last one at home before a run of three away games, starting at Hereford on Saturday, who they beat 33-15 at Heathbrook in September.
Higgins said although he was expecting the Northamptonians game to be postponed, it was disappointing as he was looking for the team to continue their bright start to the season.
He said: “All the other games were off as well so nothing has changed in the table but we want to avoid a fixture backlog if we can.
The Hereford game, if it is on, is a game rearranged from January and one we would expect to do quite well in, but the preparation for it is hardly ideal”
