New man at top for Kinver Rotarians

Rtn John Brown, who is taking over as president of Kinver Rotary Club
KINVER Rotarians have a new president after the election of former fire chief John Brown.
Mr Brown, who lives in Kingswinford, worked for West Midlands Fire Service for 41 years and was an assistant chief fire officer for seven years.
During his time with the fire service Mr Brown took charge of operational command of major incidents including the Fire Control centre, Fire Fighting and Rescue Equipment, communications and contingency planning with other emergency services including terrorism.
Although his new role may be less dramatic, Mr Brown says he has work to do and he will be focusing on forging new relationships with charities in the Kinver area.
