THE Community Players at Hawbush are getting set for another entertaining outing at the Oakfield Centre, Brierley Hill.
Popular for its laugh-a-minute productions - the society is staging William Norfolk’s black comedy Caramba’s Revenge at the centre off Brettell Lane next month.
The play centres on four retired women who share their lives in a rented house, pooling pension books and chores.
But when one of them dies after a mugging the remaining three decide to keep their friend’s death a secret so they can continue to live in the house and collect their late pal’s pension.
However their simple plan starts to get complicated when a long-lost relative from Australia turns up and starts asking questions.
The play runs from Wednesday September 5 to Saturday September 8 - with performances starting at 7.30pm nightly.
Tickets, priced £6 (£5 concessions), are available on 01348 394349.
