WORK to create a new million pound hub for youngsters with special education needs on the site in Pensnett is well under way.
Dudley planners discussed plans to add new door openings and windows to the old gym and neighbour centre at the former Pensnett School site in Tiled House Lane, when they met on Monday (April 27).
They gave the plans the go-ahead and also agreed to allow a new access ramp to the to the reception area of the facility, which will will provide post-16 education for up to 40 young people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
It is hoped the facility will be up and running by September.
