A FREE information service is ready to provide details of support and leisure services in Dudley borough in the run up to two bank holidays this month.

Dudley Council’s Early Help and Family Information Service directory is full of information about local family support organisations, leisure facilities and childcare.

Services listed on the directory include those offering advice on financial issues, parenting, breastfeeding, healthy lifestyles, play, schools, bullying and staying safe and much more.

Parents will also find detailed information about services and support arrangements available for children and young people with special educational needs or disability.

Tony Oakman, strategic director for people services, said: “The council’s Family Information Service is free of charge and the team are helpful and in easy reach for any queries about places to go, things to do, as well as information on family issues.”

The service can be accessed online by visiting http://fis.dudley.gov.uk/fsd or by calling 01384 814398.
