THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between May 13 and 19:

Justin Batley, aged 37, of Albrighton Road, Halesowen, was sent to prison for 22 weeks for stealing a vacuum cleaner, worth £54.95, from Asda, Halesowen, on April 18, while subject to a suspended sentence. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Joanne Hooper, aged 45, of Grafton Road, Oldbury, was fined £175 for drink driving in Halesowen on April 29. When tested, she had 85mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 20 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Joanne Elizabeth North, aged 44, of Laurel Road, Dudley, was fined £265 for drink driving in Lower Gornal on May 2. When tested, she had 96mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 24 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

John Michael Newey, aged 35, of Wynall Lane, Wollescote, was sent to prison for 26 weeks for stealing items, worth £1,100, from stores in Brierley Hill between April 17 and May 5 and failing to comply with supervision requirements. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Rachel Collette Asher Nagar, aged 43, of Pebble Close, Stourbridge, was given a six month community order for drink driving in Stourbridge on March 7. When tested, she had 230mlgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood. The legal limit is 80mlgs. She was disqualified from driving for 26 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £135 court costs.

Paul James Smith, aged 34, of Stepping Stones, Stourbridge, was sent to prison for 18 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing a ticket machine, worth £750, in Stourbridge on March 20. He was also sentenced for failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on May 13 having been released on bail. He must pay compensation of £375, a victim surcharge of £80 and £185 court costs.

Jenny Valerie Southall, aged 32, of Stepping Stones, Stourbridge, was sent to prison for 18 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing a ticket machine, worth £750, in Stourbridge on March 20. She was also sentenced for failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on May 13 having been released on bail. She must pay compensation of £375, a victim surcharge of £80 and £185 court costs.

Kayleigh Sinceymeleur Talbot, aged 28, of The Brooklands, Wordsley, was sent to prison for 34 weeks for stealing items, worth £75.03, from stores in Stourbridge and Dudley and between April 24 and May 13, while subject to a suspended sentence. She must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Makedia Heluise Davis, aged 33, of Hill Street, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for three years for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe violence would be used, in Dudley, on September 10, 2015. She must pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £15 and £100 court costs.

Steven Gennard, aged 22, of Gayfield Avenue, Brierley Hill, was fined £115 for driving without due care and attention in Dudley on May 21, 2015. He must pay a victim surcharge of £40 and £250 court costs.

Lisa Marie Withers, aged 32, of King Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 14 weeks for stealing items, worth £292.35, from stores in Dudley between February 18 and March 15, while subject to a suspended sentence. She must pay compensation of £8 and a victim surcharge of £115.

Harry Henry Quinn, aged 35, of Stourbridge Road, Holly Hall, was sent to prison for 12 weeks for stealing a mobile phone, worth £400, from Vodafone, Brierley Hill, on January 6. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Ian Michael Bartley, aged 27, of Northfield Road, Netherton, was sent to prison for four weeks for stealing washing powder, worth £50.45, from Spar, Lower Gornal, on March 17. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Jason William Butcher, aged 48, of Dudhill Road, Rowley Regis, was fined £700 for driving without a licence or insurance in Dudley on April 17. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £135 court costs.

Christopher Robert Handley, aged 46, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing confectionary, worth £5, from Iceland, Dudley, on February 26. He was given a six month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £350 court costs.

Warren Dominic Davies, aged 19, of Junction Road, Stourbridge, was fined £60 for assaulting a man in Stourbridge on May 4. He must pay compensation of £30, a victim surcharge of £30 and £60 court costs.

Chad Boyer Foley, aged 39, of High Street, Lye, was fined £128 for causing £250 of damage to a door lock and frame in Lye on April 26. He must pay compensation of £250, a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Matthew Mark Webb, aged 30, of Monument Lane, Sedgley, was fined £250 for drink driving in Coseley on May 4. When tested, he had 52mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Michael Steven Baggat, aged 28, of Parkfield Road, Stourbridge, was sent to prison for 28 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for assaulting a woman and police officer in Stourbridge on December 25. He must carry out 100 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £350, a victim surcharge of £80.

Anthony John Davis, aged 42, of Chapel Court, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a man and woman in Brierley Hill on March 18. He must carry out 100 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £60 and £135 court costs.

Christopher Ian Humphries, aged 29, of Church Street, Pensnett, was given a 12 month community order for stealing items from shops in Halesowen on April 15 and 25 and failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on May 12, having been released on bail. He must carry out 150 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85.

Brittney Tolley, aged 19, of Cassandra Close, Lower Gornal, was fined £100 for drink driving in Lower Gornal on May 2. When tested, she had 78mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £60 court costs.
