ZUMBA lovers can dance to their hearts content during June while helping to raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

Instructor Suzanne Richardson will be staging a Zumbathon at Kingswinford School in Water Street on June 15 and wants as many people as possible to take part.

The event takes place from 12 noon until 3pm and Suzanne said: “Anyone taking part doesn’t need to have tried Zumba before as the moves are easy to pick up.

“People don’t need to dance for three hours, but can take part for as long as they feel able.”

There’s a beach party theme to the event and everyone is encouraged to turn up in T shirts and shorts.

Some of the money raised will be supporting the crew of lifeboat ‘The Frank and Lena Clifford of Stourbridge’ which is stationed at New Quay on the Welsh coast.

Entry to the Zumbathon is £5 per adult with £2 for children, who must be supervised for the first hour.

Anyone interested in taking part should book in advance as previous events have proved popular.
