VOLUNTEERS at Brierley Hill Samaritans will spend the festive season manning the phones, helping those who are struggling to cope.
Hundreds of calls will be answered at the Albion Street base by the kind-hearted volunteers who will give up time with their own families to support others.
Charity chairman, Stephen Hoddell, said: “This time of the year can be an incredibly difficult time and we want to let people know that Samaritans is here if things are getting to them.
"When many other services shut down for the holidays, our volunteers continue to be available, answering calls round the clock."
The Samaritans can be contacted 24/7 on 08457 909090.
