History talk will focus on Stourbridge in the Stone Age

STOURBRIDGE Historical Society’s next talk will centre on the early history of Stourbridge.

The society’s former president Roy Peacock will present the talk ‘The Origins of Stourbridge’ which will be held in the Amblecote Room at Stourbridge Town Hall on Thursday February 20 at 7.30pm.

Mr Peacock, a former lecturer at Stourbridge’s King Edward VI College, will be talking about the period from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages ahead of publishing a book on the topic.
