A MAN has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a road smash in Colley Lane, Cradley Heath.
The male motorcyclist was hurt during a collision with a car which happened at 5.53pm yesterday (Saturday).
West Midlands Ambulance Service and firefighters from Haden Cross attended the scene.
A paramedic area support officer in a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance crew and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire were dispatched to the incident.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The motorcyclist, a man believed to be in his late twenties or early thirties, had pelvic, leg and wrist fractures.
"His limbs were splinted and he was immobilised, given fluids and pain relief before being flown to the major trauma centre at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.”
