A WOLLASTON restaurant boss says he has been targeted by burglars for the second time in two weeks.
On the first occasion, on August 17, six kegs of beer were taken from the cellar at Karma Indian restaurant in the High Street.
The eaterie was hit again overnight on August 28, and this time up to 80 bottles of wine were taken, including bottles of Moet and Bolinger champagne and bottles of vintage Dom Perignon worth £250 each, boss Mohammed Islam, known as Naz, told the News.
A CCTV recording device was also ripped out.
He said the incidents had left him struggling to sleep at night and he added: "It's getting so much. It's stressing me out."
A spokesman for West Midlands Police confirmed both incidents were reported but said no further action was taken regarding the first as there were no viable lines of enquiry and she said "the victim asked police not to contact him further" following the second burglary.
Mr Islam said he would be increasing CCTV coverage at the premises.
Anyone with information about the incidents is urged to contact police on the 101 non-emergency number or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
