A BIG-HEARTED franchise boss has picked up a top accolade for her efforts to raise £3,000 for Breast Cancer Care.

Emma-Jane Kisby, marketing manager for HiQ’s largest franchise Easy Tyre and Autocentres - which has a base in Stourbridge, was named Pink Hero of the Year at the network’s national franchise conference for her commitment to Project Pink.

The dedicated fundraiser coined in the cash by organising and taking part in a range of pink activities including a race for life and a 16-mile 4x4 tyre roll from Oldbury to Kidderminster.

She said of her success: “The award came as a total shock. I never expected to receive something like this.

“Raising money to help women affected by breast cancer is really important and it is with thanks to everyone who supported us either by getting involved or donating money that we could raise so much.”

Emma-Jane’s fundraising antics boosted HiQ fast fit network's efforts to raise £100,000 for the charity.
