The next meeting of the Amblecote History Society will take place on Wednesday 8th July in the form of a Guided Walk around Stourbridge lead by Dr Paul Collins (Co-Founder and Presenter at 102.5 The ‘Bridge Radio station ), looking at and learning about points of historical interest in the town. Dr Collins is a renowned historian with 23 published books and numerous articles to his name. The tour will be about an hour in duration. Non-members are most welcome and there is no charge to non members wishing to come along. Meet at the town clock at the bottom of the Upper High Street at 6.30pm for a 6.45pm start.
The society meets on every second Wednesday of the month and enjoys a varied programme with outdoor meetings during the summer months.
