POLICE closed Amblecote High Street towards the ring road on Monday night due to another crash - just yards from where a fatal collision happened a day earlier.
A cyclist is believed to have been hit by a vehicle in the latest road smash.
Emergency services flooded the scene opposite Canal Street, near Fox Removals, and the road was temporarily closed one way between Trefoil Gardens and the ring road.
Motorists heading into Stourbridge were diverted from Vicarage Road while paramedics and firefighters worked at the scene but the road later reopened at around 9pm.
Sunday's incident at the traffic lights by Holy Trinity Church left a 35-year-old man dead.
The man, believed to be a pedestrian, was airlifted to hospital but died of his injuries.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the fatal crash to contact them by calling 101.
