ON Wednesday, March 4 at Brockmoor Community Centre, the club held Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Tests at bronze level. Another fantastic 10 out of 10 passes were achieved and awards went to: Stourbridge - Gail Graham with Ruby; Kingswinford - Diane Houghton with Jasper, Pat Cashmore with Coral; Dudley - Ann Cadden with Gossun, Kate Dixon with Maddy; Brierley Hill - Marcia Hocking with Diesal, Richard Millward with Phoebe; Kidderminster - Paul Warwicker with Loki; Halesowen - Tracey Collins with Jess and Wordsley - Sara Burns with Sasha.
The tests were carried out by approved Kennel Club assessor Caroline Simkin, who commented on the high standard of the dogs and the way they were handled by their owners.
For the bronze award, emphasis is placed on handlers’ ability to control and care for their dogs.
