CHILDREN can make pumpkin masks and take part in a spooky trail at Clent Hills this Halloween.

The National Trust beauty spot is hosting the suitably seasonal events during half term on Thursday October 31.

Trails running from 10am to 3pm will take youngsters around woodland paths.

Community engagement officer Hollie Ryan said: ‘We’re really excited about our Halloween activities.

“Youngsters can join us making pumpkin masks in the haunted adventure play area and explore what is hidden within the woodland.”

Trails cost £1 per child and the last one will take place at 2.30pm. Booking is not necessary - people can just call at the National Trust stand at Nimmings Wood Car Park.

Due to popular demand, the Trust is also hosting a Really Wild Bushcraft session on October 29 - offering children chance to build a camp fire or secret den in the woods.

Bushcraft sessions will run from 10am till 2pm and cost £5 per child. Booking is essential.
