The society meets at the Community Centre, High Street, Kingswinford, on the first Monday of the month at 7.30 pm.
At this months meeting Max Keen, suitable attired, told of the Battle of Agincourt. In dramatic fashion he set the scene of the battle that took place on Friday October 25, 1415.
Henry encountered the French army of 20,000 men, 6000 French troops were killed whilst the English deaths amounted to just over 400.
Henry is regarded as having won one of the greatest victories of military history. Max showed his heavy armour and the weapons that would have been used.
The next meeting is on Monday July 6 when John Billingham will speak on ‘Worcestershire Images’.
