LYE based charity Midlands Air Ambulance will be bidding to boost funds next month by encouraging supporters to dig out their family heirlooms and have them valued.
The charity has joined forces with Bonhams International Auctioneers to host a special valuation day at Malvern College on Wednesday, February 17.
They will be joined by celebrity antiques expert Henry Sandon MBE to value any items ranging from ceramics and glass to jewellery, silver, pictures, clocks and other works of art.
Valuations cost £2 or £5 for three items with all the proceeds going to Midland Air Ambulance who are currently celebrating their 25th anniversary.
Bonhams Senior Valuer Sarah Shirley-Priest said: "These events can uncover some wonderful surprises as so often, people don't know the true value of things they own."
