FOUR-legged fundraisers can put their best paw forward for a sponsored dog walk through a Stourbridge park.
The event has been organised by Rachel Pugh, aged 19, of Stourbridge, to raise money for Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The event will be take place at Mary Stevens Park on between 10am and 4pm on Saturday September 14.
She got involved with the charity through Student Hubs, which aims to encourage students at the Imperial College, London, to be active within their community.
Miss Pugh, who is studying geophysics at the university, said: “Through this, I was put in contact with Guide Dogs for the Blind to take part in a summer project. This resulted me organising a sponsored walk to try to raise some funds for the organisation.”
Anyone who would like to take part can sign up for the event online at www.guidedogs.org.uk/gowalkies and download sponsorship forms or just bring a donation along on the day.
All participants will receive a goodie bag for taking part and walkers without dogs are also welcome.
