MOTORISTS have been urged to slow down during wet weather after a car overturned in Pedmore at the weekend.

The driver and passenger had a lucky escape when the car crashed and overturned yesterday (Sunday October 13) at around 1.55pm on Worcester Lane.

Fire crews attended the scene to check the vehicle was safe and eliminate any fire risk, the occupants were already out of the vehicle and were not injured.

Stourbridge firefighters later took to Twitter to warn motorists to slow down in wet, greasy conditions.
