GREEN-fingered Quarry Bank folk are invited to help transform their community as part of the popular Britain in Bloom campaign.
Last month, a number of residents came together to start up the Quarry Bank in Bloom committee in a bid to take part next summer.
Now the committee are looking to hear from local people who want to play their part in the campaign by attending a meeting next week.
The meeting – for any individual or organisation from the community who would like to either take part, or help out – is at Quarry Bank Community Centre, in Sheffield Street, on Wednesday, October 14, at 6pm.
People who are interested in being part of the campaign and cannot attend the meeting, can call Councillor Bryan Cotterill on 01902 883092.
