On July 29, Chairman Hilda Cartwright welcomed everyone to the annual birthday tea.
Previously on July 1, our trip to the Hop Pocket Shopping Village, near Hereford had been greatly enjoyed by members. The village consists of small shops and craft studios, a bakery and butchery selling all local produce and a restaurant.
We sat in the very pleasant garden before returning home and all agreed it had been a good day out.
The chairman then wished everyone a pleasant summer break and reminded members of the next outing on September 2 for a tour and afternoon tea at David Austen roses, Albrighton.
The next meeting is on September 30, when Paul Maguire will entertain us with a musical quiz.
