FEET are set to get tapping at Mary Stevens Park during a free live concert later this month.

The Madi Stimpson Trio featuring Vo Fletcher will play a mixture of bebop, bluegrass, ragtime and folk music from the Stourbridge park’s recently renovated bandstand.

Families are encouraged to bring along deckchairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy the music, which will take place between 2.30pm and 5pm on Saturday August 28.

Councillor Khurshid Ahmed, cabinet member for planning and economic development, said: “I’m delighted we are holding another summer concert in one of our parks.

“The events provide people with a great opportunity to enjoy fantastic live music outside in the borough’s beautiful green spaces.”

The concert is part of a series of live performances being organised across the borough by Dudley Council.
