METAL detecting will be the subject of Stourbridge Historical Society's next talk.
Jim Wall, secretary of Bloxwich Research and Metal Detector Club, will be talking about the archaeological finds he has helped unearth in the north Midlands over the last 40 years.
Mr Wall, a new speaker to the society, had been due to give a talk last month but was unable to attend due to illness.
The illustrated talk, entitled The Past Beneath Your Feet, will now take place in the Wollaston Room at Stourbridge Town Hall, in the Crown Centre, on Thursday February 16 at 7.30pm.
Visitors are welcome.
