PUB giant JD Wetherspoon is set to move into a second venue in Stourbridge after buying Chicago Rock Cafe.
The deal was completed today (Tuesday February 2) and means the group, who already operate the Lloyd’s Number One bar, will be able to double their capacity on the High Street.
The company is yet to fix an opening date for their new boozer which is likely to be launched as under the Wetherspoon brand.
A spokesman from JD Wetherspoon said: “This will compliment our existing outlet in the town, we will be keeping our existing venue which has been very successful, which is why we were looking for another site.
“We are pleased to have purchased a good site in the town. ”
