A WALL Heath man is one of the latest winners of a national charity lottery game.
Jamie Farmer, of Grove Park, scooped the People’s Postcode Lottery’s £1,000 prize on Monday (May 9) when his postcode DY6 9AD was drawn.
It is not the first time Wall Heath and Kingswinford postcodes have been successful in the lottery – in February, two Kingswinford neighbours each won £25,000 in the Saturday Street Prize, thanks to their lucky address.
For the daily prize, five winning postcodes are announced each day from Monday to Friday and every winning ticket is worth £1,000.
Since starting in 2005, the People’s Postcode Lottery has raised £118.8 million for charities including £9,124 for Home Start Dudley.
The charity received the money for its over 5’s project which provides a support service to vulnerable families with at least one child under the age of five-years-old.
