Wollaston E TG
There was no business conducted at the December meeting as it incorporated the annual Christmas party.
There was a buffet style meal, organised by the committee, with chairman Jean Latham overseeing the arrangements.
Approximately seventy people sat down, including members and visitors from neighbouring guilds such as Kingswinford, Norton, Oldswinford, Grange and Federation.
The evening concluded with a raffle and lucky winners included both members and visitors. The occasion was considered a success and thanks on behalf of the visitors was given by Jean Williams of Federation.
The choir performed carols at services at St Thomas' Church, Stourbridge and at Cobden Street Methodist Church, Wollaston.
Both occasions were well attended and began the festive season on a happy note.
The next meeting is at 7.30pm on January 12, when Malcolm Astley will give a talk on Moseley Old Hall.
The meeting place is St James' Church Hall, Wollaston where non members are most welcome.
