A WOLLASTON pub is lining up some celebrity support for a fundraising event to raise cash for sick children.
The Britannia Inn, High Street, will be playing host to singer Lisa Carter and Groovejammer, who will be performing a two-hour set of soul and funk for Acorns Childrens' Hospice.
Proceeds from the show, which takes place on Friday December 14, will be used to buy Christmas presents for Acorns children.
Lisa Carter had a hit with the Stock Aitken Waterman produced song Doctors Orders in 1988 while Groovejammer bass player Paul Jackson was in the band T'pau, who had a global smash with the single China in Your Hand.
Tickets cost £3 and the show will start at 8pm, for more information call 01384 396291.
