Ladies Captain for Hagley Golf and Country Club, Celia Shakespeare, takes up the reins for the forthcoming twelve months, and has announced her chosen charity as Mary Stevens Hospice.
With the help of keen golfers at the Club Celia will organise various fundraising events including a Captain’s Golf Day to raise much needed funds for the Hospice.
Janet Jones, Head of Fundraising at the Hospice said, “Mary Stevens Hospice has had a long-standing relationship with Hagley Golf Club for many years and we are delighted that the Ladies Golf section will be helping to raise additional funds in this way. I look forward to being able to support Celia in the coming months with her ideas”.
Celia Shakespeare added, “Hagley Ladies Golf Section are very pleased to be supporting Mary Stevens Hospice. We all feel it is a worthwhile charity which touches us all”.
