TWO fundraising events are coming up in the near future to raise funds for Shakespeare Hospice, in Stratford.
The first sees the return of the 5km Woofs and Wellies walk in Sherbourne Park on Saturday May 14.
Entry is £10 per dog with children and adults free and takes place between 10am and 12noon. There will be a children's treasure hunt en route. The event is being sponsored by Mobile Pet Supplies.
The second fundraiser is a twist on the annual moonlit walk.
Let It Glow takes place on Saturday June 14 and is a 5k ad a 10k walk through the town centre, starting and finishing at the Hallmark Welcombe Golf Club in Warwick Road.
Participants are asked to raise £20.16 each to mark the occasion of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death.
Those taking part are asked to wear neon colours. There will be glow packs and neon facepainting on the night. Food prizes are to be won. There will also be raffle prizes.
